President Blair “No Merci”

By Tory Aardvark

All is not looking so rosy for the gruesome twosome in their bid to become the new rulers of Europe.

President Sarkozy of France an early evangelist for Blair has had a sudden change of heart, and who could blame him?

Imagine having to deal with Cherie Blair on a regular basis. As my American friends say “you can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you cant take the trailer park out of the girl

No surprisingly Sarkozy’s cooling off is more due due more to EU political correctness about certain corner stones like the Euro and not that awful grasping avaricious woman.

There is also another problem which could prevent the post of EU President from being created; all 27 member countries have to sign the Lisbon Treaty, and euro sceptic President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus, is refusing to sign the ratification papers which have been agreed by the Czech parliament.

In an interview with Le Figaro Sarkozy said: “Personally, I believe in a Europe which is strong politically and symbolised [by a strong president],” he said. “But the fact that Great Britain is not in the euro remains a problem.”

Other EU leaders, including the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, would prefer to limit the new presidency to the tasks of business manager and referee, not political “symbol” or leader

A quick reminder from William Hague on the perils of President Blair

  1. would this be the same Blair who accused the EU of strangling British jobs?
    Qu’elle Surprise.

  2. The one and the same

Full marks to the Vaclav Klaus, if he can just not sign Lisbon until the GE we can put a end to the European Communist Super State

  3. he will sign it though.
As much as he detests much of what the EU stands for.

    • That is almost certainly correct.
However, I’m not at all convinced of the Czech’s democratic credentials.
Fancy a bet of a bottle of Chimay that some additional euro investment will be offered to the Czech’s??

  4. We Must Be Heard

at last the truth, sarkozeee now wants us in the euro zone, are we now to forget the promises that we will not get the euro untill we pass the test. the 5 some things or other

  5. Lets hope he can resist long enough for us to vote next year
