Change We See – Labour Party Infiltrated By Islamic Radicals

Change We See

Just like in the 1980’s when Labour was infiltrated by the Militant Tendency, Labour has once again become unfit for purpose, this time because of infiltration by Islamic Jihadis from the Islamic Forum of Europe.

The IFE which believes in jihad and sharia law and wants to turn Britain and Europe into an stoneage barbaric Islamic state has placed moles in selected posts within the Labour party with aim of a mass mobilisation of voters.

A Labour minister says his party has been infiltrated by a fundamentalist Muslim group that wants to create an “Islamic social and political order” in Britain.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, Jim Fitzpatrick, the Environment Minister, said the IFE had become, in effect, a secret party within Labour and other political parties.

“They are acting almost as an entryist organisation, placing people within the political parties, recruiting members to those political parties, trying to get individuals selected and elected so they can exercise political influence and power, whether it’s at local government level or national level,” he said.

Climategate – IPCC Attempts To Restore It’s Reputation

The IPCC has taken a bashing in recent months, right from the moment that Climategate started to the revelations that the 2007 report on melting Himalayan glaciers was based on WWF propaganda.

Rajendra Pachauri the head of the IPCC is not a scientist, but a fomer railway engineer who has come in for a great deal of criticsm for the events at the IPCC on his watch. There is a really post on Pachuari from Richard North on how Pachuari’s own institute has been paid millions of Euros.

In the next few days, the world’s leading authority on global warming plans to roll out a strategy to tackle a tough problem: restoring its own bruised reputation. Read the rest of this entry

Climategate – UK Met Office Proposes Climatologists Start Afresh

Back in December the UK Met Office wanted to re-examine 160 years of climate data, which as Copenhagen was underway did not sit well with Gordon Brown and Ed Miliband, who were scared the AGW deniers would use the information to blaspheme against the Church of Climatology flawed and corrupt science of AGW.

As the science was settled according to Brown, Obama, Rudd et al then the Met Office wanting to look again at the data would mean that science was far from certain.

In an event largely ignored by most MSM outlets, on Monday this week there was a meeting of 150 Climatologists at Antalya in Turkey where the Met Office proposed that Climate Science should start afresh and be subject to both public scruinity and a proper peer review process to replace the farce that was the old peer review process.

After the firestorm of criticism called Climate-gate, the British government’s official Meteorological Office has decided to give its modern climate data a do-over. Read the rest of this entry

Climategate – Where Has Al Gore Gone?

Just a few months ago now Al Gore was all over MSM like fleas on a hedgehog, but since Climategate and a brief dalliance in a broom cupboard with Gordon Brown the Pope of the Church of Climatology has dropped off the radar. A couple of less than convincing calls to prayer on Gore’s blog this year, other than that silence has been deafening.

American Thinker floats the idea that Gore has been advised to lie low by legal counsel: Read the rest of this entry

Climategate – Corus Redcar Steel Works The Price Of Gordon Brown’s Insane Climate Change Policies Part 2

Part 1 of the story is here

At the last minute MEP Nigel Farage was dropped from last Thursday’s Question Time, Farage would have had some interesting things to say about the closure of the Steel Works.

In a letter Farage writes:

Corus is owned by Tata Steel of India. Recently, Tata received “EU-carbon-credits” worth up to £1bn, ostensibly so that steel-production at Redcar would not be crippled by the EU’s “carbon-emissions-trading-scheme”. By closing the plant at Redcar – and not making any “carbon-emissions” – Tata walks off with £1bn of taxpayers’ money, which it will invest in its steel-factories in India, where there is no “carbon-emissions-trading-scheme”.

There’s more. The EU’s “emissions-trading-scheme” (ETS) is modelled on instructions from the “International Panel on Climate-Change” (IPCC) of the United Nations Organisation. The Chairman of the IPCC is one Dr Rajendra K.Pachauri, a former railway-engineer, who obtained this post by virtue of his being Chairman of the “Tata Energy-Research Institute” – set up by Tata Steel. Aardvark has it on very good authority that Tata have been more than a little sensitive about this story and are rumoured to have threatened legal action against at least one National Daily and several bloggers, which probably means that people are getting too close to the truth.

Bullygate Conservative Lead Doubles to 12% In Latest ICM Poll

The allegations of bullying against Gordon Brown have done immediate damage to Labour’s poll ratings with the Conservative leading doubling to 12%; Conservative Party Chairman Eric Pickles does counsel that people should wait for a trend to develop before drawing too many conclusions from this poll.

What does standout however is how fragile Brown’s support is, it takes weeks to start building up Labour’s poll standing and just hours to destroy it again as the floating voters flip back and forth; now is the time for David Cameron to strike.

Labour are on the back foot again and this time the opportunity for knock out blow must not be missed.

UK Drivers Ignore Warming Alarmists Message

Land Rover have increased sales 93% in 2009 Q4 over 2008 Q4

Land Rover sales of all models including the flagship Range Rover have defied the recession and in the final quarter of 2009, LR sold nearly double the number of vehicles it had in the final quarter of 2008.
Jaguar continues to woo the world with the brilliant Jaguar XF which has now won more than 50 awards, and then there is quite simply the best looking car in the world the XK.

Upgraded versions of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport and the new Discovery 4 have kept demand buoyant, while a new Freelander can now be bought for under £20k ensuring a steady stream of new customers for the entry level model.

Good news for British jobs and good news for export earnings, which always seem to be at odds with the message of the AGW alarmists,  social engineers and the self-appointed life style facists. Read the rest of this entry

Climategate – Roundup Of The Weekends Best Stories

The British Government vehicle  scrapage scheme has come under fire for creating more CO2 than it saves. An inconvenient fact ignored by wealth redistributionists is that the life cycle of a car is: manufacture, use and destruction, not just use. When facts like this are considered the Toyota Prius is an environmental holocaust and SUV’s like the Range Rover and Hummer have less environmental impact.

It looks like the old saying “figures don’t lie but liars figure,” is again proven true. According to the article in today’s Times Online the cash for clunkers programs create more Co2 than they remove. Another “backfire” in the Antropogenic Global Warming con game. More at Climategate.com

Anthropogenic Global Warming has become a religion:

George F Will in The Washington Post argues that, “A religion is what the faith in catastrophic man-made global warming has become.” Thus, he tells us, “It is now a tissue of assertions impervious to evidence, assertions that everything, including a historic blizzard, supposedly confirms and nothing, not even the absence of warming, can falsify.” Hat tip to Richard North for the story.

Bringing Skillful Observation Back To Science:

Archimedes had his eureka moment while sitting in the bathtub. Newton made a great discovery sitting under an apple tree. Szilárd discovered nuclear fission while sitting at a red light.
There was a time when observation was considered an important part of science. Climate science has gone the opposite direction, with key players rejecting observation when reality disagrees with computer models and statistics. More sense at Watts Up With That

Climate scientists withdraw journal claims of rising sea levels, what more claims with drawn due to fudged or incorrect data?
Apparently so say the Guardian:

Many scientists criticised the IPCC approach as too conservative, and several papers since have suggested that sea level could rise more. Martin Vermeer of the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland and Stefan Rahmstorf of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany published a study in December that projected a rise of 0.75m to 1.9m by 2100.

Announcing the formal retraction of the paper from the journal, Siddall said: “It’s one of those things that happens. People make mistakes and mistakes happen in science.” He said there were two separate technical mistakes in the paper, which were pointed out by other scientists after it was published. A formal retraction was required, rather than a correction, because the errors undermined the study’s conclusion.

“Retraction is a regular part of the publication process,” he said. “Science is a complicated game and there are set procedures in place that act as checks and balances.”

Strange how the peer review process has missed so many mistakes which only a few weeks ago were beyond doubt, the science settled.

Climategate – With AGW Effectively Dead UK Green Party Test Marketing New Eco Scare

There was always going to a replacement bogeyman for the wealth redistributionists, for a brief time ocean acidification became the pretender but under a new trial scare being floated in the UK by the Green Party it’s Oxygen.

At the 2010 Conservative Political Action Conference Climate Depot’s Marc Morano had this to say on being awarded the the Reed Irvine Accuracy in Media Award:

Morano highlighted a new “eco-scare” that could fill the void left by the demise of the global warming: a so-called oxygen crisis being floated as a trial balloon in the United Kingdom.

“No joke, the U.K. Green Party test marketing the next eco-scare,” Morano said. “‘There exists a more serious crisis than CO2 – the oxygen levels, human activity has decreased them by one-half.’ This is a test market. They’re trying this out.”
