Climategate – Gordon Brown Attacks Climate Sceptics Again
Posted by Tory Aardvark
The saviour of the world is attacking climate sceptics again, we are no longer flat earthers, we are now going against the grain of scientific evidence.
Would that be the same scientific evidence that is in dispute everywhere except in the cosy world of Gordon Brown, David Milliband, Sarkozy, Chavez and all the others promoting wealth redistribution and one world socialist government?
The original premise of the Climate Change lie was to sell it by fear to the developed nations and by bribes to developing nations, well the fear has gone and been replaced by scepticism and ridicule, even denial and the Third World is left wondering what happened to the promised hand outs.
Gordon Brown simply cannot believe that AGW has come apart, so he will persist in his messages of doom and gloom and rising to the challenge of the non existent threat. There are a number of reasons for this ranging from the lack of policies and the cyclic relaunch of policies that are either window dressing or will simply never happen, to a desperate desire to be see as a major player on the world stage.
Remind Aardvark again Gordon were you excluded from the final horse trading deal? Oh yes you and the EU were excluded, and after you flew to the COP15 farce 2 days early to sort it all out.
50 days to save the world and all Brown managed was to lead Al Gore in to a broom cupboard.
Gordon who? As they say in America
There is also a cynical twist to Brown’s promises of
bribes funding that we will see later on.
Prime minister Gordon Brown today accused climate change sceptics of going “against the grain” of scientific evidence, as he launched a new group to raise billions of pounds for the fight against global warming.
Mr Brown will co-chair the United Nations High Level Advisory Group on Climate Change Financing with Ethiopian prime minister Meles Zenawi.
Meles Zenawi was the man who suggested that global socialism was the cure for AGW at Copenhagen, both Brown and Sarkozy leapt to their feet to support him. Gordon Brown is so convinced about the scientific eveidence that he tried to stop the UK Met Office re-examing 160 years worth of climate data incase the evidence changed.
But Mr Brown brushed aside the sceptics’ challenge during a UN webcast to launch the group today.
“Those people who have become global warming deniers and those people who have become climate change deniers are against the grain of all the evidence that has been assembled that global warming and climate change are indeed challenges that the world must meet and that can only be met together,” he said. He has previously denounced what he described as “anti-science, flat-earth climate sceptics”
The PM pledged that Britain would contribute, saying: “Let me stress that the UK is committed to paying its share of the up to $30bn required by developing countries from 2010. We will stand by and make our commitment real to that part of the agreement at Copenhagen.”.
Giving away more money the country does not have.
Last month the UK government admitted that its £1.5bn contribution to the 2010-2012 funding would be taken from its existing overseas aid budget.
The final cynical lying twist that the votes of Britain have become used to, the money that is being offered will be robbed from Peter to pay Paul.
Gordon Brown assumes that nobody has a memory and every time he paints a new lie we are a fresh canvas, this holds true both for Britain and his dealings with the world.
