Global Warming Scam – Kiribati Climate Change Conference
With the COP16 scam drawing closer every day the warming alarmists are holding mini conferences all over the world and fanning last years flames of fear, doom and gloom in a last ditch effort to restart the AGW scam.
The rising sea levels scam has been dusted off, given a new coat of paint and rolled out again, under threat this year is Tarawa atol, most famous for the blood bath that the US Marines suffered at the hands of the Japanese Marines in World War 2, now like the Maldives under threat from rising sea levels.
Is Tarawa really under threat or is this just another lie from the warming alarmists?

Today, representatives from Kiribati and many of the other most vulnerable countries in the world, along with delegates from the UK, US, EU, Asia and Africa,will gather in its capital, Tarawa, for the Tarawa Climate Change Conference , to discuss ways to prepare for and address the impact of climate change. A small rise in sea-levels could have devastating consequences for these states. It is hoped that the discussions will feed into the Cancún talks, which begin at the end of the month.

If you click on the Tarawa link there is a list of countries participating, one of these is The Maldives which famously held a cabinet meeting under water just before the COP15 car crash last year.
The Maldives were sinking beneath the ever rising sea levels, the solution was naturally give us all your money and everything will be fine.
Now if you are going to peddle a lie in an attempt to extort money from developed nations then at least keep the lie going and be consistent, don’t get caught out like the Government of The Maldives have been.
The Hong Kong based architectural company, Integrated Design Associates (IDA) has unveiled the new look of the Male’ international airport, under its expansion and modernization project.
The IDA has come up with an impressive new design that will “encompass the entire scope of the airport, including a full concept design, detailed expansion schemes and the construction supervision of the new terminal, including 12 aircraft bays, spread over an area of 55,000m2,” the Maldives Traveller magazine revealed.
The four-year construction plan will also add a large seaplane port to house 42 sea aircraft.
Singaporean architect and Founder of IDA, Winston Shu, famed for his technically complex industrial buildings as well as his energy efficient ‘green offices’ will personally oversee the makeover of the airport, according to the magazine.
The IDA has been contracted by the Indian infrastructure consortium GMR and Malaysia Airports Holdings to oversee the high-tech construction.
Earlier this year, the government leased out the Male’ international airport to GMR and Malaysia Airport Holdings to expand, manage and operate it for the next 25 years.
The GMR is set to control of the airport in November this year, midst a pledge to complete the project by 1 July 2014.
Malayan Airport Holding is to take over all operations of Male airport for the next 25 years, so Aardvark guesses that the Maldives wont be slipping under the seas anytime soon.

Tony, This may be a personal question you don’t care to answer, but I wanted if possible a sense of how old you were. I’m doing a study on climate science denier, and also compiling a list of deniers and their statements, so that when the human race wakes up to its own extinction, we can go back and see who was leading us to this destruction. I know you’re “small potatoes” in terms of leadership, but this list will, hopefully, be very detailed.
The age question is important, as it is expected that this retrospective will take place in twenty or thirty years, and there is a growing consensus that people currently of age 60 or more will be dead or at least too doddering to be able to adequately account for themselves. So kind of a “get out of jail free” card for the aged, if you will.

Apparently, Mr. McAbee, the “sky-is-falling” sheep, isn’t very old himself, or very well read. There have been numerous alarmist calls for action because of supposed climate change and other worldwide disasters. We were told in 1975 we’d all freeze to death in a new ice age.We’ve been told everyone on earth would starve to death in the 1970s. In 1972, we were told the world would become over-populated within 100 years. In 1976, the scare was about recombinant DNA, and the dangers of lab accidents. It’s ALWAYS something, and the intent is usually power or money, or both. This time it’s both. (Carbon credits=money and power) As H. L. Mencken said, “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menancing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” It doesn’t help us to bring an end to this fear-mongering, when folks like Mr McAbee buy into it. You’d think that the fact that Al Gore and many others stand to become outrageously wealthy if cap and trade becomes law would get Mr. McAbee’s attention, wouldn’t you?
BTW, “climate change”? REALLY? We always used to say, if you don’t like the weather, just wait 5 minutes, and it will change. That’s what climate does: change. Constantly. Dopes.
