MPs Want Ring Fenced Cash Freed

Why should 0.7% of GDP go abroad

We have children in poverty, there is another harsh winter on the way, more of our old will die needlessly because they are too scared to turn the thermostat up for fear of the fuel bills they cannot pay.

On the streets people who have fought for their country will die of hypothermia in shop doorways and on building sites, with all this suffering why would any sane government or nation turn its back on it’s own to pander to the one world socialist government United Nations.

We need to take care of our own first, and now at last an influential group of MP’s agree

A report by the Treasury select committee, a group of MPs from across the political parties which scrutinises the Government, examined the spending cuts announced by the Chancellor last month.

While safeguarding NHS spending and the international development budget “may fulfil electoral promises” it can cause problems for other departments as resources are not evenly shared, the report found.

It quotes evidence from expert advisers who said giving the money to other departments could create more jobs or boost economic growth.

Another pointed out that safeguarding some budgets had only led to bigger cuts for the rest. Sky News

Charity begins at home and there is no moral justification what so ever for money to go abroad while there is so much poverty and despair in Britain.

  1. David Cameron didn’t get a clear mandate to rule the country. He therefore should be more open to suggestions elsewhere, he can’t force his agenda and Cleggy’s agenda on us and pretend he has the right to do that.

They are being too harsh in certain areas, DC is coming over as out of touch, and i agree, charity does begin at home. That doesn’t mean we should ignore the third World, but how about what we are giving to India, but they have the cash to maintain nuclear weapons and a space programme?

Boris wouldn’t do this, he made the point in one of his Telegraph articles, and he is dead right. (as usual).
