UK Snow Chaos Why You Are To Blame

Its all our fault for being mobile, owning cars and flying

It was only a question of time until an eco mentalist slid out from under their stone and blamed all of us for the travel chaos besetting Britain at the moment.

If you fly or drive then you are the cause of the problem, because by travelling you emit CO2, which according to the followers of ManBearPig means you cause Global something or other, which in turn makes for colder winters.

Apparently it is the ever increasing temperatures that are making us travel further:

Simply put, we travel far, far more than we did just a decade or two ago. Combine that with the false sense of security that an ever warmer world delivers – there were seven mild winters before the current run of colder ones began – and you have a metaphorical train wreck. We have raised our vulnerability and decreased our resilience.

In fact, climate change combined with hypermobility: the belief that one should be able to travel anywhere at any time, regardless of the weather. Natural variations in weather has given us here in the UK about three decades of benign winter weather. The current run of three colder winters is merely a throwback. We coped back then by not travelling, partly because many were not rich enough to have the option. Now we are richer, travel is cheaper, but the weather is more variable and unpredictable.

In other countries in Europe where they are geared up for bad weather, transport continues uninterrupted. It’s nothing to do with Climate Change as a physical event, it’s more to do with Climate Religion from the Met Office giving the wrong information to local authorities, which impacts salt stocks, the pressure on finances and the fact that in Britain we are crap at dealing with snow.

Someone has been reading a junk science report from the Potsdam Institue and listening to George Moonbat.

Now let’s take a look at the weather and climate. George Monbiot makes a striking argument today that the current snowstorms could be actually be caused by changes to the planet’s weather patterns as a result of global warming. He’s not alone – the Met Office chief scientist Julia Slingo told me the same. But the weather the British Isles gets depends not only on global warming but also many interacting regional factors, and research is currently untangling those.

What is clear is the world as a whole is getting warmer and on a decade-long timescale so is the British winter. The Guardian’s weatherwatch column showed, that despite the third snowiest December since 1900:

Sure enough the Moonbat has surfaced, or should that be roosting? Who cares.

The warming alarmist lie that Climate Disruption has caused the coldest winter in a 100 years is being pushed as hard as possible.

Carrington does really believe that each year is getting hotter, he is either too stupid or too naieve to understand that James Hansen makes up the data to suit his agenda.

Piers Corbyn who has been consistently right on weather predictions, is now predicting a mini ice age:

Back in November, when the Met Office was still doing its “mild winter” schtick, Corbyn said it would be the coldest for 100 years. Indeed, it was back in May that he first predicted a snowy December, and he put his own money on a white Christmas about a month before the Met Office made any such forecast. He said that the Met Office would be wrong about last year’s mythical “barbecue summer”, and he was vindicated. He was closer to the truth about last winter, too.

He seems to get it right about 85 per cent of the time and serious business people – notably in farming – are starting to invest in his forecasts. In the eyes of many punters, he puts the taxpayer-funded Met Office to shame. How on earth does he do it? He studies the Sun.

He looks at the flow of particles from the Sun, and how they interact with the upper atmosphere, especially air currents such as the jet stream, and he looks at how the Moon and other factors influence those streaming particles.

The last word goes to James Delingpole in a post about Moonbat: When you’re in a hole, George, stop digging

    Well it ain’t my fault!

Mind you according to His Holiness Pope Benny, “we” are to blame for paedophile priests so maybe everything is “our” fault.
