Greens Fizzle In The US As Obama Drops Climate Change

The man with newly photoshopped discovered birth certificate pontificates on the settled science of Climate Change a mere 18 months ago in Copenhagen. Now no mention of the settled science of Michael Mann and Phil Jones and the IPCC, Climate Change has been quietly taken around the back of the Whitehouse, shot in the back of the head and buried in quicklime.

No terminology change that amounted to everything is caused by AGW, could breath new life in to the great Climate Change scam, for now, make no mistake the warming alarmists will withdraw, lick their wounds and regroup for another attempt at implementing Agenda 21.

For now though, the emphasis is on energy policy, an energy policy that could only make sense to someone about to overdose on Pixie dust.

Not once in his weekly radio broadcast to the US did Obozo mention Climate Change:

“What the heck went wrong?” That, apparently, is the question roiling the environmental community as it realizes that the fight against climate change has fizzled.

As Brad Plumer writes in the New Republic, everything was looking great in 2008 for a sweeping effort to make good on candidate Barack Obama’s pledge to start turning back the rising oceans. The Democrats held Congress. Both John McCain and Mr. Obama had promised to push for capping carbon emissions. Corporations had gotten on board. Al Gore and “An Inconvenient Truth” had seemingly softened up the public to the point where it might go along with whatever a popular president promised.

“Instead, the climate push was … a total flop,” Mr. Plumer laments.

It is called Climategate, Mr Plumer and once the genie has been let out of the bottle, it can be quite a task getting it back in.

Climate change is dead as a major political issue for the foreseeable future. Don’t believe me? Check out President Obama’s remarks in his weekly radio address last weekend. It was all about energy policy, yet not once did he talk about climate change.

In one sense that’s odd, given that without global warming, his energy policy goes from merely misguided to outright bonkers.

Outright bonkers that about sums up everything from Obozo to his once settled science.

  1. This is what happens when Al Gore doesn’t donate enough to his re-election campaign. “No money? No Climate Change! Now let’s see how much I can screw the oil companies out of!”

  2. Oh, dear! Poor Obama. I guess the oceans failed to stop rising after all… 🙂

  3. Bush bunny

OT/ Photoshopped Birth cert? Mate, years ago they pulled the birth announcements in the local Hawaii newspaper, and he was there. You can’t alter them. Silly thing is,although Obama’s pa described himself as African, he was a Kenyan fighting for the British to piss off out of Kenya. He was a British citizen by rights, Like his dad before him.. Until Kenya got Independence some years after Obama was born. But he chose not to describe himself as British. Bet he traveled on a British passport too.

So even if he had been born in Kenya that he wasn’t. Couldn’t we consider that the US president was actually
half British too when he was born.
