Polarbeargate – It’s Lie Detector Time
Polarbeargate just another childs fear tale from the Church of Climatology
The first decade of the 21st Century was a heady time for climate scientists the new false prophets of the left leaning liberals, who took Anthropogenic Global Warming to their hearts, it was all Homo sapiens fault, which dovetailed nicely with the global liberal belief in original guilt, which is much like the christian concept of original sin.
There is always something to apologise for or feel guilty about.
As the science became not only settled, but also politically correct, so the amount of money on offer to support the man made Climate Change theory increased, all political systems need a bogeyman, the USSR bogeyman had finally come apart as Marxism ultimately does not work, so a new something to be feared was needed, enter the CO2 Wolf.
In 2004 Charles Monnet a scientist at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement observed 4 dead polar bears in the water and concluded that they had drowned because all the ice had melted.
In July 2010 Monnet was suspended for “integrity issues” regarding his report.
As the story unfolded it came to light that Monnet’s wife had peer reviewed the polar bear paper, peer review loaded with integrity Church of Climatology style as usual, as the storm broke the warming alarmists started to turn on their once triumphal Nobel Laureate, Al Gore.
Gore had allegedly overplayed the Polar Bear card, in his comedy work of fiction An Inconvenient Truth.
August 2011 Monnet is interviewed by Special Agents from the Interior Department’s inspector General’s Office about his report, also interviewed was one of Monnet’s accomplices in compiling the 2006 report.
The story continues to unfold and take new twists not usually seen in the typical Climate Religion whitewash:
It’s the next step in “Polarbeargate” – one of two scientists whose report on dead polar bears in the Arctic helped make the animal a potent symbol of climate change has been asked to take a lie detector test as part of an investigation by US agents.
The 2006 report from American wildlife researchers Jeffrey Gleason and Charles Monnett told of dead bears floating in the Arctic Ocean in 2004, apparently drowned, and focused attention on the vulnerability of the animals to the melting of the Arctic ice, which they need for hunting. Widespread references were made to the dead bears and they figured in the film An Inconvenient Truth, made by Al Gore to highlight the risks of global warming.
The Lie Detector test will hopefully set a precedent as more investigations are launched into the hoax that was Man Made Global Warming.

This for me is the clincher. Why is the sea ice integral to the polar bear’s survival? They are land based hunter/scavengers. If the sea ice retreats altogether (highly unlikely), that will provide more opportunity for the polar bears to hunt seals and fish. If anything, the polar bear population would most likely flourish under such conditions.
I’d love to see the read-out on that lie detector test – my bet would be that the needle will be going haywire!
