Someone Should Tell Obama That The Flat Earth Society Believes In AGW

Flat Earther is another term used by warming alarmists to denigrate those that do not believe in Climate Religion or fear CO2.

Denier, Climate Contrarian and an old favorite not heard since the UNFCCC Copenhagen COP15 fiasco, flat earther, all terms used by the socialists and Greens to try to discredit those that believe science is about observed empirical evidence, not a sheep like pseudo scientific consensus.

You can tell a lot about a disparaging term, by looking at those that throw the term around, in this case flat earther was a popular slur for one James Gordon Brown, the worst British PM in 200 years. When Brown’s hysterically funny 50 Days to Save World speech crashed and burned in the run up to COP15, and then when COP15 followed suit, Brown started calling everyone who did not believe in the AGW scam flat earthers.

Gordon Brown has enough issues to be a case study for any psychology student after a PhD, famous for being absolutely right about everything in his own mind as was seen by the slip in a speech Brown made in the House of Commons where he claimed to have saved the world, before quickly correcting himself, those that disagreed with the great man had to dodge a barrage of flying Nokias in Downing Street.

Brown was under no illusions he was unelectable he either dodged or chickened out of any election that came his way, until finally he ran out of time and the voters passed judgement on the Great Man who promised he had abolished Boom and Bust. Anyone delusional enough to believe they have abolished Boom and Bust would naturally believe in the politically motivated scientific consensus of Anthropogenic Global Warming.

Now as the Boy King in the US, Barry Obama tries to by-pass the democratic process with his Climate Change agenda the term flat earther has been dusted off and wheeled out again:

Australian Conservatives Top Priority Is To Kill Gillards Carbon Tax

There will be no Carbon Tax under a Government I lead, unless I need the Greens to hang on to power, in which case I have just lied.

Julia Gillard’s Labor regime in Australia is in deep political trouble because Gillard lied to voters, when she was elected Gillard promised she would not implement a carbon tax, a promise she promptly broke.

Gillard is no different from any other politician, it’s all about power, and the way Gillard managed to hang on to power was to do a deal with the Australian Green Party, the price of this deal a Carbon Tax and Gillard reneging on her promise to voters.

The Carbon Tax has been popular with voters, about as popular as a skunk in an elevator, 65% of Australian voters are against it, and despite Gillard offering bribes to business and voters the carbon tax is showing no sign of becoming popular anytime soon.  The Labor party suffered a massive defeat in the March 2012 Queensland elections, and currently polling indicates a similar outcome is very likely  in the Federal Election this coming September.

Green Financial Armageddon In Spain

Wind and solar power have caused a deficit of more than 26 billion euros in Spain’s energy market.

Spain was one of the first European countries to Green their economy and use the German Green Energy subsidy model, driven by the socialist zeal of the then Spanish government, going Green was done literally at all costs.

The Great Man Made Global Warming boondoggle was always a cause espoused by the left, the bright Green future of renewable energy, the millions of Green jobs that would be created, prosperity and wealth from cutting edge Green technologies would flow endlessly as the rest of the world rushed to embrace the brave new Green world, bit of shame really, all in all, that the Green pipe dreams, like their Green Armageddon scenarios of global climate catastrophe, failed to happen.

The real cost of going Green to Spain has been horrendous, every Green job that was created killed 2.2 jobs in non Green industries, as the costs of the Green subsidies mounted so the new Spanish Government started to cut the subsidies for wind and solar and the familiar story of the Green death spiral started.

In the run up to COP18 last November, Hedegaard was pushing fear stories of global climatic apocalypse using the much beloved and completely erroneous, warmist science of event attribution and muttering darkly about the human race being able to select the climate of its own choosing.

The Great Man Made Global Warming scare was always a political agenda embraced by the left, so it is no surprise to learn that this patently ludicrous system of Green subsidy known as Renewables Obligation was the brain child of Britain’s worst Prime Minister in 200 years, Gordon Brown and his then Green sock puppet Ed Miliband.

The Renewables Obligation is added to energy bills and paid for by every household and employer in the country, forcing families and the most vulnerable into energy poverty, pushing up employers costs and killing jobs, all to support an energy generation system that is intermittent and requires fossil fuel power stations on 24/7 standby for when intermittency strikes.

Stop The Green Decline Use The Health Fear Meme

The problem for the Greens, Liberals and Socialists right now is that their Climate Change scam is melting away faster than their junk science computer models predicted the Arctic ice cap would, back in 2007 the Green peddlers of fear were predicting that the Arctic would be ice free, during the summer months no later than 2012.

As always this was  just more Green wishful thinking and hoping for a real climate disaster, something to give their fear stories some legitimacy at last, the hope that one day the wolf they have cried for so many times will actually turn up and lay waste to a significant portion of our planet.

It is this immediate compulsion to cry wolf that has been a significant factor in the decline of Big Green, the failed prediction factor, the lack of any statistically significant warming for 17 years another, the truth coming out about the real costs of Green energy, the smug do what we say not what we do platitudes of the Champagne Celebrity Greens, and of course, observed empirical evidence which bears no relation to the warming predicted by their junk science computer models.

As the decline in Climate Religion carries on unabated the warmists are scratching around in the dirt looking for new ways to keep their scam alive and what better possible way could there be than another fear story?

COP18 Fallout Russia Blocks UN Climate Talks

Flashback to the dying moments of COP and Russian climate change negotiator Oleg Shamanov trying to get the COP18 President’s attention

Just about 6 months ago the latest UN Climate Circus meeting, COP18 in Doha finished, just like it’s predecessors from COP15 onwards, COP18 was an unmitigated failure.

From the start COP18 was doomed, the plummeting attendance levels seen at COP17 continued with COP18, the conference being less well attended then even COP17 was.

What really made COP18 a spectacular failure was the conduct of the COP18 President Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah during the closing stages of the conference, where desperate to find a successor to the failed Kyoto Protocol that expired on December 31st 2012, Al-Attiyah effectively forced through new non binding Kyoto texts.

The Kyoto amendment was tabled by the grasping hands of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) who will stop at nothing to get their Climate Justice money, the money they were promised for playing along with the AGW scam and perpetuating the lie that their islands are under threat from sea levels that are not rising, naturally the amendment was backed by those strongholds of Green foolishness Europe and Australia.

The Green Sting – Now Tim Yeo Is Gone

Green arrogance comes before a fall as Green profiteer and lobbyist Tim Yeo departs the pointless Energy and Climate Change Committee.

OK I will admit that it is really difficult to type when you are laughing so hard, and let’s be honest there is one hell of a lot to laugh about here.

A Green profiteer and lobbyist whose appointment to the Energy and Climate Change Committee was a gigantic conflict of interest in the first place, was so confident and arrogant in his being Green, that he fell foul of one of the oldest tricks in the book, he was caught on tape by journalists in a sting, bragging about how  he was the Great I Am.

This is the same Green profiteer and lobbyist who tabled an amendment to the recent Energy Bill to totally decarbonise Britain’s electricity generation by 2030, an amendment that had it been passed would as they say, have been a nice little earner for Yeo and his Green cronies, all paid for by more jobs lost and more families pushed into energy poverty by ever rising electricity bills.
