Warmist Institute Admits That An Effective Climate Agreement In 2015 Is Not Likely

What little science there ever was behind man made global warming has been shown to be wrong, yet the Green political machine still thunders on.

More bad news for warming alarmist central, this time from a pillar of the Church of Climatology, the Norway based Center for International Climate and Environmental Research (Cicero).

A report by Cicero has concluded that the chances of an effective international treaty being signed in 2015, are about as likely as the Arctic being ice free in 2012, or was it 2020?

The world is actually further away from a climate deal than it was 16 years ago when the Kyoto Protocol was adopted, decades of the annual UN Climate Circus have achieved nothing it is against this background that the Cicero researchers decided to try an ascertain what an effective climate agreement would consist of.

Their findings are really bad news for the UN backed AGW boondoggle:

Ban Ki-Moon Climate Summit – Chinese President Not Going

The latest world leader to snub Ban Ki-moons climate summit is Chinese President Xi Jinping.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon announced last year that he was holding an informal Climate Summit to try and keep the great man made climate change boondoggle alive.

As the date for the summit, September 23rd draws closer so world leaders are backing out of attending the summit, India’s new Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced he will not be attending as he would have nothing to do afterwards.

Another no show will be German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister David Cameron is making excuses about Scottish Referendum on Independence although US President Barack Obama will be attending.

UN Climate Talks In Bonn Set To Fail For The Second Time In 2014

The UN Climate Talks in Bonn March 2014, second round of talks in June 2014 is set to fail as well with just 21% of countries sending ministers.

The UN Climate Circus is set for more Déjà vu in Bonn, as the next meeting scheduled for June heads towards the inevitable failure has defined every UN attempt to keep the Anthropogenic Global Warming boondoggle alive since 2009.

The first Bonn meeting held in March 2009 achieved nothing except to highlight the divisions about who should cut CO2 emissions, and who should not, and who should pay vast amounts of money for “loss and damage“, the current euphemism for wealth redistribution.

The second meeting in Bonn is regarded by the warming alarmist industry as an important step towards a Climate Deal in 2015, with all 196 countries being asked to send ministers to the meeting.

So far only 21% of countries are sending ministers and that is just the start of the problems for the UN:

EU Warmists And Greens Fear The Deomocratic Process

EU Greens and warming alarmists are seriously worried about the EU Elections in May where voters are likely to return more right wing MEPs which would derail the EU’s position as one of the last bastions of Climate Religion.

The democratic process and the EU, probably the biggest oxymoron of all time for a bureaucracy that actively fears the power of the voter.

The EU President, Foreign Minister and the legions of EU Commissioners are appointed by other members of the EU cabal, with voters hardly ever getting a chance to vote on anything as the unaccountable EU continues to encroach on their lives and personal freedoms.

The Anthropogenic Global Warming boondoggle is a classic case in point, the EU has been at the forefront of pushing the warming alarmist message and doing their level best to de-industrialize Europe. led by the EU Climate Commissar Connie Hedegaard who believes that the human race can pick and choose the climate of the planet by limiting CO2 emissions. As the AGW scam has declined year on year, so the dissension in the ranks of the once Green united EU has spread, the EU and Poland are at a standoff over coal burning power stations, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Britain and other countries are now voting against Green policies that were once rubber stamped.

The elections for MEP’s are going to be held in May, and the Greens, Liberals and socialists are getting worried about the rising popularity of right wing parties in Europe, because despite the stories about Global Warming being something that transcends political viewpoints, Global Warming has in reality always been a left wing cause celebre, their last chance to destroy the democratic capitalist system.

One of the poster boys for the Green Liberal warming alarmists has slithered out from under his stone to warn that Climate Change denying Conservatives risk becoming irrelevant, a fate that is currently befalling warming alarmists at an ever increasing rate.

Future EU Climate Policy – Environmentalists Are Horrified

Polar Vortex was cause of the bitter winter of 1812 which hindered Napoleon’s long retreat from Russia. Now 200 years later Napoleon’s successors, the EU are in full retreat on their Climate Policy.

The 20th century successors to the failed dictator Napoleon Bonaparte, the EU are having their retreat from Moscow moment, as EU Climate Policy comes apart, quite literally at the seams.

The Climate Commissar Connie Hedegaard, Greens, Liberals and other beneficiaries of the warming alarmist industry are pushing hard for binding targets for renewable energy for 2030, while on the other side of the argument countries, industry and politicians are against binding targets.

Just before the UNFCCC COP19 climate circus in Warsaw last year, Hedegaard sort of admitted that the EU Climate Policy was not supported by all member states and that some countries are no longer taking part, for example the Czech Republic and Poland, the COP19 hosts. Poland is currently involved in a legal standoff with the EU, which if the EU lost would totally destroy EU Climate Policy in a single stroke.

The UNFCCC, Lima, Paris And The Road To Nowhere

The dust has settled on COP19, mega quantities of Green Turd polish have failed to disguise the fact that COP19 was yet another dismal failure for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

COP19 was most the divided COP meeting so far, with the Green NGOs and the other self appointed representatives of “Civil Society“ staging a walk out, followed soon afterwards by the Venezuelan vice minister Claudia Salerno accusing Connie Hedegaard of damaging not only COP19, but COP15 as well.

The reality of the collapse of the Global Warming Boondoggle has at last percolated through to the highest levels of the UNFCCC and according to the 3 past and present leaders of the UN wealth redistribution scheme the future is far from bright:

Poland, COP19 And The International Coal Conference

Hosting an international conference on coal at the same time as COP19, no doubt about it the Poles have a great sense of irony.

The decision made on Day 3 of COP18 for Poland to host COP19 was always a strange one, but then so was the choice of Qatar to host COP18.

Qatar’s position on Anthropogenic Global Warming could be charitably described as ambiguous, Poland is best described as obstructive to the EU Climate Change Laws and the aspirations of the UNFCCC.

Then last month the COP19 website caused massive Green outrage when a page appeared promoting the benefits of melting Arctic ice: “Melting Arctic Ice Offers New Opportunities For Drilling, Chasing Pirates, Terrorists & Ecologists”, unsurprisingly the Green meltdown exceeded that of alleged melting of the polar ice caps.

From a Green perspective things have pretty much gone to hell in a hand cart for COP19, but then when you think things can’t get any worse, or better, depending upon your point of view, this happens:

6 days and COP19 Warsaw will start, in past years the run up to the failed COP meeting is always preceded by a climate of fear. 2013 is no exception, although the things we should be frightened of are less imaginative than usual, however the most upsetting event of all is way too awful to mention in a picture caption.

In just 6 days time COP19 Warsaw will start, in preparation for this next UNFCCC slow motion car crash the Big Green propaganda machine has been at work thinking up new things we should all be terrified of, because of Climate Change.

The choice of Poland to host COP19, has at best been controversial, as far as the Green boondogglers are concerned, they know the game of Green charades that played out in COP18 Doha last year is a portent of the things to come in Warsaw.

Apparently Russian Prisons in the Arctic are cold! Really? What about Global Warming and the Arctic being ice free any day now?

The bad news for the warming alarmist movement continues apace, as hot on the heels of the IPCC AR5 report crashing and burning on the indifference of politicians across the planet come 4 more bad news stories for those that have an irrational fear of CO2 and Western Industrialized society.

One of the cornerstones of the Climate Scam is the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the UN wealth redistribution scheme to give away US $100 billion annually to developing countries to mitigate climate change brought about by the evil West developing industrialized society.

In a letter to the board members of the GCF, 133 NGOs from developing countries called for the adoption of a robust environmental and social framework through which the GFC could operate.

They wrote: “developed countries are obligated to provide the necessary finance to enable affected peoples to deal with climate impacts, build resilience, and shift to more sustainable, equitable low carbon development pathways.

Obligated?

There has been no warming for 17 years, severe weather events are at an all time low, even the UK Guardian has had to admit the 2013 Hurricane season has been flat, the scam has unraveled, not one single Green Armageddon event has yet happened, and Green NGOs are talking of obligations.

The UN IPCC have already admitted that they plan to redistribute the world’s wealth by Climate Policy.
