Ban Ki-Moon Climate Summit – Chinese President Not Going

The latest world leader to snub Ban Ki-moons climate summit is Chinese President Xi Jinping.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon announced last year that he was holding an informal Climate Summit to try and keep the great man made climate change boondoggle alive.

As the date for the summit, September 23rd draws closer so world leaders are backing out of attending the summit, India’s new Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced he will not be attending as he would have nothing to do afterwards.

Another no show will be German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister David Cameron is making excuses about Scottish Referendum on Independence although US President Barack Obama will be attending.

Communicating Climate Change Without The Scary Green Monsters (Oxymoron)

Big Green is wondering again if the stories of scary Green monsters are really working with the public in the developed world. They have wondered this before, but the problem is their political agenda is founded on fear.

If you cry wolf as the fable goes people listen, if however, you keep crying wolf and the wolf never turns up and eats the sheep then eventually people cease to listen.

Here is the crux of the problem facing the Green propaganda machine, not one of their Green Armageddon scenarios has ever come pass, the Arctic was going to ice free by 2012, when that failed happen the date changed to 2020 and then moved on to 2058.

Our children would not know what snow was, there were 50 days to save the world which eventually evolved into 120 months to save the world.

It was Climategate that did the damage to the Green Dream, and in the years since then, the fear stories have been ramped up, where  every extreme weather event is immediately linked to Anthropogenic Global Warming, by the new Green science of attribution.

Attribution is a simple science that most people can comprehend, it goes like this everything that has ever happened, or will happen in the future is caused by man made climate change.

In reality it is the science of predictive fear, underlined by the hope a major natural disaster will occur, and that the Greens can profit from the ensuing human misery.  Puts a whole new slant on “I told you so.”

India Snubs Ban Ki-moon Climate Summit

India’s new Prime Minister Narendra Modi has caused Green outrage by snubbing UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s Climate Summit which is to be held in September.

The ages old trick of tell a big enough lie, tell the lie often enough and people will believe it,  is being done to death on social media by Big Green and the warming alarmist machine in the run up to COP21 in December 2015.

COP21 is going to be held in Paris and according to the Green narrative the world is going to sign a legally binding deal to cut emissions and we will all live happily ever after in a world with a climate of our own choosing.

Every old Green scare story from drowning polar bears to ice free poles by (insert a year far enough into the future so it irrelevant) is being dragged out, dusted off, given a new coat of Green turd polish and broadcast as the truth.

Running in tandem with the Green lie machine is the Green wish projection and straw grabbing machine, looking to find anything that shows there is still some political support somewhere, in the world for their junk science and political agenda.

A UN sponsored climate conference in Venezuela has gone badly wrong for Big Green when it ended with a declaration to dump carbon taxation and the Green economy.

These are strange times we are living through, a Green scam that once held sway over nearly all world leaders is dying, kept alive on by Green rent seekers, crony capitalists and the Greens who want to tell us all how to live our lives, their way.

Things that were unthinkable, heretical even only 2 years ago are now happening, Australia has dumped it’s wealth and job killing Green Carbon Tax.

The global Green outcry was deafening, reminiscent of 16th Century religious fervor where once the mob cried “Heretic“, “Witch” and “Denier” , er come to think of it the Green mob still cry “Denier.” During the 500 years or so that have elapsed since the 16th Century the mob have progressed to adding “Climate” as in “Climate Denier“, someone who denies there is a climate, makes about as much sense as the whole AGW boondoggle.

This latest embarrassment for the UN and Big Green comes from within, and this they most definitely will not have seen coming:

A Week in Green Warming Alarmist World – Communism, Fear and Blame

If 2013 was the worst for the Big Green Machine since records began, then 2014 is rapidly shaping up to be an even worse year with the Green decline slipping into hyper drive as more politicians run away from the Green Agenda.

There have been far too many Green stories to write about all of them so here goes with a weekly roundup.

First off the blocks is Christiana Figueres head of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) who thinks that the only answer to stop the global warming that isn’t happening is Communism. Figueres is a long time communist and protegé of the late Hugo Chavez, and was among those that cheered Chavez’s infamous COP15 silent and terrible ghost in the room speech which referred to capitalism and democracy.

Being Green is all about blame and fear, blaming someone or something so that you have something to fear, bread and butter to the warming alarmist industry. So no surprises then in a new Green report they have finally decided on a country to blame for Global Warming

Warmists Already Lowering Expectations For 2015 COP21 Agreement

The road map to COP21, note the beginning of the end of fossil fuel use scheduled for 2016.

There was a departure last year at COP19 with the warming alarmist industry scaling down the expectations of exactly what COP19 would achieve, which was just well, because in addition to being the 5th successive UNFCCC COP meeting in a row to crash and burn, COP19 showed the cracks appearing in the Green agenda.

All the Green NGOs and other self proclaimed representatives of civil society, walked out of the meeting when the western world refused to pay trillions of dollars in so called “Climate Justice” money. The cake was then truly iced with an awesome bout of name calling between Venezuela and the EU Climate Commissar Connie Hedegaard, who blamed Hedegaard not only for the failure of COP19, but also COP15.

The spectre of COP15 haunts the warming alarmist pysche, the high water mark of Green ambition, it has all been downhill since 2009.

So ingrained into the Green collective memory is COP15, they now believe that politicians will not reach a meaningful deal because they are frightened of having another COP15 debacle at COP21.

Flashback COP15 Copenhagen November 2009 Warming Alarmism as political force has just peaked and though the major protagonists have yet to realize it, the long slow painful disintegration of the Anthropogenic Global Warming scam has begun.

In blissful ignorance of the coming storm the true agenda of the warming alarmists was being openly aired and applauded by the likes of Gordon Brown, Nicholas Sarkozy, the late and unlamented Hugo Chavez and the late President of Ethiopia Meles Zenawi who pronounced that the answer to Climate Change was Global Socialism.

Not long afterwards Hugo Chavez made his infamous “Silent and Terrible Ghost in the room” speech, a reference to capitalism and the free market economy to rapturous applause from all present.

Among those in the enthusiastic audience was one Christiana Figueres, Head of the UNFCCC, socialist thinker and long time Chavez ally.

Poland, COP19 And The International Coal Conference

Hosting an international conference on coal at the same time as COP19, no doubt about it the Poles have a great sense of irony.

The decision made on Day 3 of COP18 for Poland to host COP19 was always a strange one, but then so was the choice of Qatar to host COP18.

Qatar’s position on Anthropogenic Global Warming could be charitably described as ambiguous, Poland is best described as obstructive to the EU Climate Change Laws and the aspirations of the UNFCCC.

Then last month the COP19 website caused massive Green outrage when a page appeared promoting the benefits of melting Arctic ice: “Melting Arctic Ice Offers New Opportunities For Drilling, Chasing Pirates, Terrorists & Ecologists”, unsurprisingly the Green meltdown exceeded that of alleged melting of the polar ice caps.

From a Green perspective things have pretty much gone to hell in a hand cart for COP19, but then when you think things can’t get any worse, or better, depending upon your point of view, this happens:

The Pre COP19 Climate Of Fear

6 days and COP19 Warsaw will start, in past years the run up to the failed COP meeting is always preceded by a climate of fear. 2013 is no exception, although the things we should be frightened of are less imaginative than usual, however the most upsetting event of all is way too awful to mention in a picture caption.

In just 6 days time COP19 Warsaw will start, in preparation for this next UNFCCC slow motion car crash the Big Green propaganda machine has been at work thinking up new things we should all be terrified of, because of Climate Change.

The choice of Poland to host COP19, has at best been controversial, as far as the Green boondogglers are concerned, they know the game of Green charades that played out in COP18 Doha last year is a portent of the things to come in Warsaw.

So what should we be all be terrified of in closing weeks of 2013?

The Global Warming Boondoggle Pantomime To Tragedy

It was all so rosy in 1988 for the Agrarian Society lovers, however 25 years of symbolic politics has ended in Tragedy for Gaia.

The warming alarmists, Greens and Liberals are in a mixed state of consternation and incredulity that the world has not stopped turning since the release of the IPCC’s Fifth Assessment Report (AR5).

The Green scammers were over the moon with the PR for the report, which says something completely different to the findings, so the IPCC released the bad news first so that the Green propaganda machine could go into overdrive with the fear message, yet again.

We are over the peak. Years late, the IPCC concedes some territory and wears headlines they must hate (“Global warming is just HALF what we said“, “We got it wrong on warming“), but PR still rules, and in the big game, this will quickly spin to a minor bump. It’s a classic technique to release “the bad news” before the main report, to clear the air for the messages the agents want to stick.

The trouble is there has not been a lot PR message sticking, world leaders have mostly ignored the report, unless of course they stand to get their grasping hands on some climate justice money.

The stark naked reality of the situation has not been lost on warming alarmist Dr Christopher Shaw, who has impeccable warmist credentials like the Grantham Institute and the Climate Crunch project:
