Can anyone forget Gordon Browns “British Jobs For British Workers“ lie, Brown knew what he was saying was illegal under EU law.
What is worse is that when Brown and Ed Miliband were not sending British jobs overseas with their blind obedience to the Church of Climatology, they were dishing out work permits to 500,000 non EU economic migrants that could have been refused the permits in the first place.
Labour created 1.1 million jobs, gave 50% of them to immigrants so that they could continue with their plan of unfettered immigration and make Britain a multi-cultural and
divided diverse society. What kind of Government makes 500,000 of it’s citizens unemployed to give the jobs to immigrants? Read the rest of this entry
In the history of political screw ups Labour’s people poster of David Cameron will turn out to their second biggest political mistake ever, second only to Michael Foot’s 1983 election manifesto often described as the longest political suicide note in history.
Launched amid much back slapping and glee, the first Labour election poster
and probably the last designed by the dwindling band of party faithful has backfired spectacularly. Read the rest of this entry
Another Labour Government department has had it’s adverts banned by the Advertising Standards Authority according to Sky News.
This is another blow for the Government propaganda machine that they are wasting tax payers money on, for what are in effect, no more than party political broadcasts for
A matter of days ago Ed Milibands Church of Climatology department had two adverts banned by the ASA becuase of flawed science and scare mongering about AGW.
The Home Office is the culprit this time, for an advertisment designed to mislead about the amount of time that police officers spend in local communities.
The Home Office’s “policing pledge” campaign says communities can expect their neighbourhood officers to be “on the beat” 80% of the time.
But the Advertising Standards Authority is expected to say it does not make clear that this time includes a range of duties and not just patrolling local streets. Read the rest of this entry
Only a few months ago Gordon Brown was harping on about “Labour Investment vs Tory Cuts”, then the message was “Nice fluffy warm Labour cuts vs Nasty Tory cuts” and now the Chancellor has said that if elected Labour’s cuts would deeper than those Margaret Thatcher was forced to make after Labour screwed up the economy last time their government was over.
Two very different messages from the Prime Minister and his Chancellor.
Asked by the BBC’s Political Editor Nick Robinson to accept the Treasury’s own figures suggest deeper, tougher cuts than those implemented by the Thatcher government in the 1980s, Mr Darling replied: “They will be deeper and tougher – where we make the precise comparison I think is secondary to fact is an acknowledgement that these reductions will be tough”.
He added: “There may be things that we don’t do, that we cut in the future. We will have to decide what precisely we can do within the [spending] envelope I set.”
Shadow Chancellor George Osborne:
“Gordon Brown is basing his election campaign on the claim that Labour can go on spending. That is completely blown apart by Alistair Darling’s admission, under pressure, that Labour’s own Budget numbers imply deep cuts. But why didn’t he admit that yesterday? Twenty four hours on this empty Budget has completely unravelled and Labour’s failure to act will hit families hard.”
The most stupid strike in recent years is now into it’s first day.
British Airways are claiming that sufficient cabin crew have turned up for them to operate the published service, while Labour’s paymasters Unite are claiming well populated picket lines; nothing unusual in the rhetoric.
The strike has caused a storm in politics, but nowhere more so than in the Labour Party. Last weekend the Transport Secretary Lord Adonis had the temerity to blame Unite for the strike, the fallout was almost instantaneous with Labour’s paymasters calling Downing Street and telling them to muzzle Lord Adonis and that Unite should NOT BE BLAMED for the strike.
On Monday Gordon Brown was on the BBC Radio 4 program Womans Hour where he manged to utter a few words like “deplorable”, “wrong time”, “unjustified” but could go no further for fear of having the purse strings cut by Charlie Wheelan.
BA and many other airlines are in a very weakened state financially because of the recession, ever increasing Green taxes for the non existent AGW threat and the price of aviation fuel. Read the rest of this entry
Gordon Brown has achieved a certain notoriety for his reliance on falling back on tractor production stats whenever the going gets tough at PMQs.
The relentless droning on and on with meaningless figures are reminiscent of Soviet Bloc propaganda videos about cooperative farms, tractor production, riveters and the like.
The problem is that Brown actually believes his own propaganda and lies, as he found to his cost on Monday when he appeared before an audience of “undecided voters”. One thing, and one thing alone became crystal clear, the gulf between Brown and the people whose votes he needs, is vast and most likely cannot be bridged before a General Election.
Mr Brown’s contributions read a like a broadcast by a member of the East German politburo who seldom leaves his headquarters and who still believes the regime’s propaganda that everything is getting better and better.
On this occasion the Prime Minister travelled to Stourbridge, in the West Midlands, where Barry Weir, who is unemployed, told him the town “used to have a major glass manufacturing industry” which has “virtually completely disappeared”.
Recent figures have shown that manufacturing industry in Britain has contracted by 10% pa since 2000 Read the rest of this entry
Deputy Labour Leader and repeatedly convicted traffic menace Harriet Harman has been caught out again, this time using tax payers money to fund her travel to a Labour Party rally in Exeter, seat of Ben Bradshaw, he of too many twits make a twat fame.
The real reason for Brown taking the Goats on the road, is really to try and rally Labour support in marginal constituences.
In a leaked letter from Ms Harman seen by The Times, she made plans to meet candidates, officials and trade unionists from across the South West region to discuss campaign strategy.
The letter, sent 12 days before the February 5 visit, said: “This will be a chance for me to hear directly from you as party members in a private meeting to talk about the issues and campaigning activity in the South West. It will be particularly helpful for me to hear from you in the run-up to the general election about the activities taking place in the area.”
Details of the meeting were not released to the press at the time.
Labour is vigorously defending the seat, held by Ben Bradshaw, the Culture Secretary, with a 8,559 majority over the Conservatives. Ed Balls used the same occasion to visit Plymouth, where Labour holds two seats. Read the rest of this entry
Why did they bother?
The major problem with all left wing socialists and Labourites is they are bereft of any form of humour and irony is an anethma to them.
Scumgate on Twitter proves the point admirably. At the recent right wing bloggers do Aardvark attended, one of the topics under discussion was how you can’t debate with the left because all you get is sound bytes from Dear Leader and any form of disagreement blows the circuits of the brainwashed and they immediately resort to insults normally of a sexual nature.
As a frequent recipient of such slurs Aardvark is curious as to how a party that is supposed to be the party for the so called Pink Vote, so readily slips in to using homophobic allegations against political opponents. This has to be some kind of a double standard, which of course is what Labour is all about.
So for all you Labour supporters out there, what is the definition of the Labour Party:
The malicious leading the stupid.
