This years record Arctic sea ice melt has got the warming alarmist doom sayers all fired up and predicting more environmental Armageddon in the Arctic, even though the warming alarmist propaganda machine had already predicted that the Arctic would be ice free by the summer of 2012.
Of course this is the start of the silly season for Big Green, the run up to COP18 in Doha, the same cycle that happens every year in preparation for the annually declining attendance at UN COP meetings.
This year the fear theme is Arctic Sea Ice, and this time the Arctic will be ice free in just 4 years according to Professor Peter Wadhams: Read the rest of this entry
Here we go again, I hope everyone is seated comfortably as tonight’s programme is another block buster production from *Greenworks GHM – Arctic Sea Ice Yet Another Armageddon or (One day we will get something right, until then we will cry Wolf at every opportunity and hope for disaster).
This summers Arctic sea ice melt has been rapid, in fact one of the most rapid since records began:
“The previous record, set in 2007, occurred because of near perfect summer weather for melting ice. Apart from one big storm in early August, weather patterns this year were unremarkable. The ice is so thin and weak now, it doesn’t matter how the winds blow,” said the NSIDC director, Mark Serreze.

Armageddon in the Arctic by summer 2012 screamed the warming alarmist prediction machine, the outcome of this prediction another epic failure, when the Arctic sea ice in blissful ignorance of the desires and aspirations of warming alarmists for a planet wide catastrophe, continues to grow rapidly.
The warming alarmists made the same predictions about Antarctic ice, the Himalayan glaciers, the peak of Kilimanjaro was going to lose its covering of snow, all caused by man emitting CO2 and not one of these cataclysmic events have actually happened, or even come close to happening.
Satellite monitoring of the cryosphere has only been available since 1979, a mere 33 years which in the natural timescales of the planet is equivalent to a millisecond in the grand scheme of things, far too short a period for any accurate predictions or the ability to determine if what was observed was a trend, or a cycle.
The junk scientists opted for a trend, underlined by the warmest years on record to back up their contention that this would cause melting of the Arctic ice cap. Read the rest of this entry
