The Guardian Lies About Bird Deaths & Wind Turbines

According to the Guardian raptors avoid wind farms, so they use this picture of red kites flying around bird choppers to illustrate their point

The hypocrisy of the Green movement is legend, the turning of a blind eye to an inconvenient  truth,  a way of life for the ecomentalist who will stop at nothing, and sacrifice anybody, or animal to achieve the Green dream.

One of their most loathsome forms of hypocrisy is the death of protected bird species, which they are supposed to care for, by wind turbines which is what they really care about.

The US government is issuing licences to kill for Green energy companies, while prosecuting anyone else that kills a protected bird.

The California Condor is under serious threat from wind farms, the Golden Eagle is being decimated and could well be extinct very soon, and in Spain bird choppers kill between 6 – 18 million birds and bats every  year.

Wind Farms are piting Green activist against Green activist  in the US where one bunch of Greens are using the legal system to shutdown the other Greens, Green energy wet dream to stop the bird chopppers, chopping birds.

Anyway there is nothing to worry about, because according to Leo Hickman in a post entitled Wind myths: Turbines kill birds and bats none of this happening: Read the rest of this entry

Wind Farms Will Wipeout The California Condor

There are just 400 California Condors, but its OK if they are wiped out by Green renewable energy, more breathtaking Green hypocrisy

Wind turbines are not called bird choppers for nothing, they indiscriminately kill birds and bats between 6 – 18 million a year in Spain alone.

The Golden Eagle is being decimated and could well be extinct, still with the usual breathtaking hypocrisy that so typifies the Green Environmentalists across the world, Golden Eagles are expendable, just so much collateral damage in a brave new Green world.

In both the US and Britain Green ecofacists and the NGOs that are supposed to be about protecting birds brazenly say its OK to kill birds to meet CO2 targets, Green energy targets and to appease Gaia.

Save the Eagles International who produced the report on the slaughter of birds by Spanish wind farms has just issued a biodiversity warning for the remaining 400 California Condors: Read the rest of this entry

Green Wind Farm Supporters “Bird Deaths Are An Acceptable Trade Off”

Please note some people could find this video clip upsetting, the suffering of the vulture is all too plain to see.

Wind farms kill birds, there is no argument about this fact, the argument is about the numbers killed and how it is acceptable for Green hypocrites to sanction the killing of birds of birds of prey by the renewables industry, while at the same time screaming for the maximum penalties for anyone or organisation that kills a bird of prey.

The estimates for bird deaths submitted when a wind farm is approved are around 12% of the actual deaths caused by the bird choppers, the shocking news from Spain that between 6 to 18 million birds are killed annually illustrates the point, sadly. Read the rest of this entry

Spanish Wind Farms Kill 6 to 18 Million Birds & Bats Every Year

Spain’s 18,000 wind turbines may be killing 6 to 18 million birds and bats every year

Wind farms are not only a killer for reliable affordable energy, jobs and economic prosperity, they are also a killer for birds and bats.

The Golden Eagle is under threat from bird choppers in Oregon where licences allow the killing of protected bird species, as long as it is by approved Green industry. In Norway bird choppers are also killing Golden Eagles, while in Britain the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) sanctioned the killing of birds: “Any threat has to be weighed against the national imperative to develop green energy sources“.

Now in a new report by Save The Eagles International the true extent of bird deaths in Spain caused by bird choppers has for the first time been exposed: Read the rest of this entry

Wind Turbines – How Long Before The Golden Eagle Is Extinct?

A white tailed eagle killed by a Norwegian wind turbine

The wind turbine symbol of all that is good, renewable, green and politically correct is in reality an environmental holocaust for the countries like China that manufacture components for them, a subsidised failure at reliable electricity generation globally, they blight the lives of people forced to live within their shadow and they kill birds in huge numbers.

Yesterday Aardvark blogged about the desecration of the D Day beaches by bird choppers and finished the post with “Now if the area around the Normandy beaches were home to a threatened species of aquatic fruit bat then every NGO from Greenpeace to the WWF would be up in arms,” seems that Aardvark was wrong Wind Turbines are, in fact, the most sacred icon in the political Church of Climatology: Read the rest of this entry

A Letter To Chris Huhne Re Wind Turbines

The Dutch hide their bird choppers in industrial landscapes

Dear Mr Huhne

As Environment Secretary you must surely be aware of the study that shows over the last 30 years wind speeds across Western Europe have dropped on average 12.5%, yet in the face of this evidence you are still willing to gamble our energy security and invest in a source of power that is very expensive and requires 100% back up for the increasingly frequent days when there is no wind.

Then Mr Huhne, you propagate lies about all the Green Jobs that will be created when the whole landscape from horizon to horizon is full of rotating blades, recently you cited Thanet as the way forward bringing lots of new jobs in new industries. Thanet will create just 21 jobs at average cost of £3,000,000 per job per year, the 400,000 jobs you quote would require 17 times the total output of Great Britain plc to fund Read the rest of this entry
