The Green Socialist Hypocrisy Of Ed Miliband

Have you ever wondered how and why UK energy prices have risen so fast? The man to thank is Ed Miliband and the Climate Change Act he pushed through Parliament

Have you ever wondered how and why UK energy prices have risen so fast? The man to thank is Ed Miliband and the Climate Change Act he pushed through Parliament.

Politicians in the main are a pretty sickening breed, politicians of the socialist persuasion particularly so, when socialism and Green are mixed then be prepared for some truly sickening hypocrisy.

Take for example one Ed Miliband, leader of the British Labour Party and an ardent supporter of that global left wing cause célèbre the Green Agenda.

It is no secret that polling wise Ed Miliband is about as popular as a dead skunk in an elevator, so with the usual socialist shape shifting that Labour do so well, Ed Miliband is trying to buy votes by saying that a Labour government would freeze energy prices for 2 years if they were elected.

On the face of it, nothing wrong with that statement,  were it not for the fact that Miliband had also committed Labour to the lunacy of 2030 decarbonisation targets, like they say dumb can be cured, stupid is forever. Read the rest of this entry

David Cameron – “Britain Must Be At The Heart Of Shale Gas Revolution”

British Prime Minster David Cameron “We should take part in fracking because this might be a revolution and if we ignored it completely we could be giving our economy much higher energy prices than would otherwise be necessary.”

British Prime Minster David Cameron “We should take part in fracking because this might be a revolution and if we ignored it completely we could be giving our economy much higher energy prices than would otherwise be necessary.”

Finally David Cameron has broken his silence on Climate Change, after a chequered history involving bothering huskies and putting a bijou bird chopper on his roof, Dave has finally woken up to the economic political reality of the Green dream, it is totally unaffordable.

More importantly though, because Dave is a politician, high energy prices do not win votes or create jobs, which also win votes, once being Green was sort of a vote winner now as COP18 has demonstrated the whole AGW boondoggle is dead, and politicians have a severe aversion to hanging around dead political agendas.

The economic benefits of the shale gas revolution in the USA are well known, only in Europe have the Greens managed to delay fracking because it is not politically correct and approved Green tokenism: Read the rest of this entry

Ed Miliband “I Like Wind Farms – Vote Labour”

Ed Miliband “Opposition to wind farms should become as socially unacceptable as failing to wear a seatbelt.”

From the outset Anthropogenic Global Warming was always an attractive political outlook for those on the left of the political spectrum, the anti capitalists, hippies, tree huggers, bunny botherers, politicians and the water walkers of the Green NGOs, in short AGW was always going to be big hit for those who go through life with a chest full of unexplored ideas as the core of their belief, or politically expedient,  belief system.

Prior to COP15 and Climategate there was no political doubt about Man Made Climate Change, however the timely release of emails from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) from the University of East Anglia (UEA) showed exactly what the so called climate scientists were up too, producing science to match a previously declared political intention called Agenda 21.

Since COP15 endled in failure the whole UN AGW boondoggle has continued to decline, the relentless failed predictions of environmental disaster and 16 years of no warming have continued to erode the political impetus that the Climate Change agenda once had.

As Climate Change has dropped off the mainstream global political agenda, so once again the left are donning their free trade sustainable ethically manufactured Green armour and getting back into the fear and doom scenarios so beloved by the Green environmental movement.

A case in point is the strange egg creature from Fraggle Rock Leader of Her Majesty’s opposition strange egg creature from Fraggle Rock that goes by the name of Ed Miliband: Read the rest of this entry

Scrap The Climate Change Act 2008 via Red Tape Challenge

You tell us what’s working and what’s NOT, what can be simplified and what can be scrapped

The Government is offering people the chance to remove unnecessary regulation and red tape from all aspects of Britons lives.

The most important date is September 1st 2011 which is when Red Tape Challenge moves on to the Environment, this is our chance to kill the disastrous Climate Change Act 2008 and all the other Climate Religion based laws introduced under Gordon Brown and Ed Miliband.

Over at the Guardian the eco warriors are very unhappy and questioning if the Tory party  has a soul: Read the rest of this entry

Climate Change Act 2008 – Is The End In Sight?

When the government announced in October that it was axing the huge number of pointless quangos created by the previous regime, the ecomentalists were up in arms as these outposts of the Church of Climatology were under threat.

This is likely to become a reality and an immediate casualty is the Church of Climatology Committee on Climate Change (CCC); the CCC was spawned by the Climate Change Act 2008 and is respected by unspecified business groups, energy companies and green groups. No one with a vested interest there then.

What has got the bunny botherers jumping about is that: Read the rest of this entry
