UK Guardian Finally Admits The Truth About Wind Farms

UK Guardian finally admits the truth about bird choppers, but with an ulterior motive.

UK Guardian finally admits the truth about bird choppers, but with an ulterior motive.

The UK Guardian has always pushed the Green meme about wind power being the cheapest form of energy in the long run, and what is more important it will allow Britain to meet the now conveniently forgotten carbon targets that once dominated the political landscape.

Us nasty climate change deniers have always maintained that wind power was no more than a heavily publicly subsidised monument to Green folly that provides very expensive intermittent energy supplies, creates no lasting real jobs and the production of wind turbines has created environmental catastrophes in countries like China.

With it being the Guardian a fair number of those that comment are outraged, in the way only a liberal mindset can be by the sheer heresy of the article and even more so that there is no mention anywhere of Climate Change, Global Warming or loss and damage. Read the rest of this entry

Second Wind Turbine Falls Down In South West England

Last week a wind turbine in Broadworthy,, Devon collapsed in a 50mph hour wind, now a second bird choppers has collapsed 18 miles away in Cornwall.

Last week a wind turbine in Broadworthy, Devon collapsed in a 50 mph hour wind, now a second bird chopper has collapsed 18 miles away in Cornwall.

Last weekend a wind turbine collapsed at Broadworthy, Devon in a 50 mph wind, although the wind turbine is supposed to be resilient to wind speeds more than twice as fast as this.

Now a second bird chopper has come crashing down 18 miles away in Cornwall on the family farm of a Lib Dem councillor, the Lib Dems you may recall from their last party conference were the only major political party in Britain, to still believe in Climate Religion, so it is no surprise to find Green crony capitalism being practiced by one of their number.

The collapse of 2 symbols of Green tokenism within a week have put health and safety pressures on an industry already under attack for besmirching landscapes and costing billions in Green subsidies for energy bill payers.

Investigations into the cause of the Broadworthy turbine have found bolts missing from the base which is leading to an attempted damage limitation exercise where the dark deeds of sabotage are being mooted as a possible cause of the collapse. Read the rest of this entry

Wind Turbine Fail, Service Life Is Just 50% Of That Quoted By The Wind Industry

Latest peer reviewed study proves that the life of a bird chopper is 10 - 15 years not the 20 -25 years spun by the renewables industry and used by politicians.

Latest peer reviewed study proves that the life of a bird chopper is 10 – 15 years not the 20 -25 years spun by the renewables industry and used by politicians for planning.

The case against wind turbines was already proven, intermittency or the inability to provide and meet demand for electricity is bad enough, as is the problem for renewables that they need to have a fossil fuel or nuclear power station on standby because of the intermittency issue, now a peer reviewed study by the Renewable Energy foundation has disclosed another major failing of wind power, the turbines actual serviceable life in roughly half that of the life span quoted by the manufacturers.

The study was carried out by Professor Gordon Hughes of the University of Edinburgh, one of Britain’s leading energy and environmental economists, using years of data from wind farms in both Britain and Denmark.

The findings are yet another embarrassment for the whole Green renewable energy boondoggle and has serious financial implications for energy bill payers who are already propping up the renewables industry via the ever increasing Green subsidies on energy bills: Read the rest of this entry

National Trust – “The Public Menace Of Wind Farms”

The National Trust is now "deeply sceptical" of wind power

The National Trust has joined the rebellion against the menace of bird choppers, the symbol of Green renewable energy is deeply hated for a whole range of reasons, from despoiling the countryside to the huge amounts of Green taxation and increases to the energy bills via Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROC), wind turbines cause.

Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore had this to say “The industry is a destroyer of wealth and negative to the economy”, Moore now refers to himself as a “sensible environmentalist“. Read the rest of this entry

Unreliable, Costly & Pointless Wind Turbines To Destroy Battle of Naseby Site

1645 Battle of Naseby, the outcome lead to the modern Parliamentary system Britain has today

A report by economist Ruth Lea has found what many people have been saying for years now, wind power is unreliable and costs many times more than electricity generated by coal and gas fired power stations.

There is something deeply wrong about a system that pays turbine operators millions of pounds to not generate electricity when people and business are struggling with ever rising energy costs.

The insanity continues as a decision to stop a wind farm being built that  overlooks  the site of the Battle of Naseby has been overturned despite officials acknowledging that the turbines will impact heavily on the historic site. Read the rest of this entry

Britain 3421 Wind Turbines Installed, 1500 Accidents In 5 Years

Another bonfire on a stick as a wind turbine burns from gearbox failure

Chris Huhne and the renewables industry have long been playing the nothing to see here game whenever there is a wind turbine collapse, fire or accident.

By their own admission the renewables industry is very cagey about the sacred bird chopper, the recent disintegration of a wind turbine in a mere 50 mph wind earlier this month highlighted the problem that these useless blots on the landscape have, their gearboxes and lubricant are not fit for purpose.

One nation, the Dutch who really know about windmills have abandoned wind power for all the usual reasons expense and reliability, yet in Britain the madness of Chris Huhne continues unabated with plans for 30,000 additional bird choppers costing £2 million each, a total cost of £60,000,000,000 that will require 100% backup from existing power stations using fossil fuels.

£60 billion for something that works at just 25% efficiency, it gets worse 44% of bird choppers have been involved in accidents or incidents in just 5 years: Read the rest of this entry

Why Wind Turbines Explode

During the recent storms that hit Scotland a £2 million 328 foot tall wind turbine exploded and rained shrapnel and fire on the surrounding area, all caused by  a 50mph wind.

As usual the so called “Renewable Energy” experts are calling it a freak accident with only a 1% chance of the accident happening.

There are 2 serious problems that afflict wind turbines, blade failure and gearbox failure, the latter failure usually results in the wind turbine catching fire; it is a problem that the renewables industry has long been  aware of: Read the rest of this entry

Guest Post – The RSPB Sells Out To The Enviroloons

Today’s Guest Post is from @AmbushPredator

The planned wind turbine next to Rushall Canal is for the greater good. So, all you bird-lovers who spend millions on donations to the RSPB, how do you feel now?

A leading conservation group has told Walsall residents that a wind turbine proposed to be built near their homes will not harm birds in the area.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) has said the planned turbine next to Rushall Canal is for the greater good.

So, all you bird-lovers who spend millions on donations to the RSPB, how do you feel now? Read the rest of this entry

Wind Turbines – Apparently The Isle Of Wight Has It’s Own Climate

Plans to build a wind farm of 3 125 metre tall bird choppers on Cheverton Down on the Isle of Wight have been rejected on appeal

Yet another planning application for wind turbines has been rejected, this time on appeal.

REG power had wanted to build 3 of the 125 metre tall bird choppers on Cheverton Down, an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Isle of Wight.

On Tuesday national planning inspector John Woolcock announced he had dismissed the appeal: Read the rest of this entry

Wind Turbines – Now They Are A Threat To National Security

Wind Farms don't work, ruin people's lives, slaughter birds and now threaten National Security

The Wind Farm, the single most useless form of reliable electricity generation yet invented, and the second most expensive for consumers after biomass.

Wind Turbines blight lives, ruin landscapes and slaughter protected birds with impunity, now these symbols of Climate Religion pose a threat to National Security: Read the rest of this entry
