Latest Conservative Poster Upsets Labour Luvvies At Sky News

The latest Conservative campaign poster has upset the Labour luvvies at Sky News.

When Adam Boulton got married, the guest list read like a who’s who of the New Labour elite, so it’s no big surprise to find like minded Labour propaganda being spouted by Boulton’s team, in this case Miranda Richardson:

Gone is the controversially smooth forehead of the Tory leader and in its place a wilting Labour rose and a tombstone.

CCHQ must be hoping this latest offering will put an end to the ridicule of their last poster, but at Boulton & Co towers, we’re unsure they’ll succeed.

With the BBC we have no choice we have to fund their left wing pro Labour propaganda by law, but with Sky we have a choice to pay or not to pay.

This sort of pro Labour reporting extends on to Sky’s so called discussion forums where anything anti Gordon Brown, Labour or Climate Change is immediately deleted by the censors.

Gordon Brown’s Broken Britain – The Vandalising Of War Memorials

It was with great sadness that Aardvark heard today that the war in Afghanistan has now claimed as many lives as did the the Falklands War.

Last November there was a great deal of public outrage and upset over a low life scumbag and general piece of shit called Phillip Laing who was photographed urinating on a war memorial.

Now what sort of society breeds parents that could not instill the correct sense of respect and standards of behaviour in their children?

How did an education system that shaped this person fail in a similar manner to the parents?

The vandalisation of war memorials is a depressingly common event with 57 reports in the last year writes Conservative MP David Burrows on the Blue Blog:

Last week I had the opportunity to introduce a Desecration of War Memorials Bill. The aim of this Bill is to toughen up sentencing for those who desecrate war memorials to properly reflect the seriousness of the crime they commit. Read the rest of this entry »

Guardian – Climate Action Must Be Rebuilt From The Ground Upwards

The Guardian is still finding it difficult to fully break away from Climate Religion as this article by Ian Katz shows.

Intended to be a “to do” list of what is needed to fill the pews in the Church of Climatology once again, it instead reads like a catalogue of disasters that destroyed man made Climate Change as a credible theory.

What a difference three months makes. Back in November, the world broadly agreed that emissions of carbon dioxide were heating up the planet and that we needed to do something about it, even if we couldn’t agree exactly what. And though we’d had the usual pre-summit rollercoaster ride of dire predictions and naive exhortations (yes, I plead guilty to some of those), even hardheaded types dared to hope that Copenhagen might produce the basis of a global climate treaty.

Now, with climate science under siege and climate politics in disarray, that sounds like the rhetoric of another age. The American commentator Walter Russell Mead recently captured the mood: “The global warming movement as we have known it is dead … basically, Sarah Palin 1, Al Gore zip.” A senior British diplomat compares those trying to secure global action on climate change post-Copenhagen to “small groups wandering in different directions around the battlefield like a beaten army”. A leading scientist offers an equally pithy assessment: “Everybody is completely clueless.”

Not depressed yet? This weekend a BBC poll showed a dramatic fall in the number of people who believe warming is happening; carbon markets have tumbled; a Guardian survey of over 30 leading figures involved in climate negotiations found almost none who believed a global deal was possible this year; in Australia a man who described climate change as “absolute crap” could soon be prime minister.

What went wrong? How long have you got: the leak of the “climategate” emails that showed scientists behaving just as tribally as their detractors, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s great glacier meltdown (enough “gates” for now), the abject failure of Copenhagen, Obama’s Massachusetts disaster and a bitterly cold winter in much of Europe and the US. Broken Britain The Shame Of Gordon Brown And Labour

After 13 years of the New Labour experiment 70% of voters believe that British society is now broken and heading in the wrong direction, Gordon Brown will naturally deny this, call the voters flat earthers and recite tractor production stats in his governments defence.

The left will blame Maggie Thatcher as usual, conveniently forgetting in their diatribe that Britain has been ruled by Labour for 13 years, but then it is always someone else’s fault.

Nearly three fifths of voters say that they hardly recognise the country they are living in, while 42 per cent say they would emigrate if they could.

Women, working-class people and Tory voters were more likely to say that they hardly recognise their own country.

Overall, 64 per cent think that Britain is going in the wrong direction and just 31 per cent believe it is on the right track.

Voters’ main fire is directed at political institutions: 73 per cent say politics is broken in Britain and 77 per cent say there are far fewer people in public life that they admire than there used to be.

Climategate – Beware The Green Aardvark

More scurrilous lies and smears from the warming alarmists, a Green aardvark whatever next?

Aardvark can take being called a paedophile by warmists and socialists, but Green? That really is an insult too far.

Climategate – Selected Stories From The Weekend

The Climate Change scam is coming apart faster and faster every day, there were a lot of new stories this weekend so here are a selection:

I mean “Mad” in a good way. This was the day when so many wheels came off Al Gore’s AGW gravy train and flew off in so many different directions, it was all but impossible to keep track of them. James Delingpole

By the deadline, about 56 countries had officially written in. Most of them are developed nations. Not many developing countries have signed up so far. And most have taken a wait-and-see approach. The Star On Line

Phil Jones: “There were death threats. People said I should go and kill myself. They said they knew where I lived.” Climategate.com

Welcome to club indeed Phil, it’s people like you who have called Aardvark a paedophile for daring to have views and opinions that dont go along with your lies about Climate Change, not to mention various other allegations about Aardvark’s sexual preferences. Sleep well Phil.

A day after it received Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s backing, the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), headed by R.K. Pachauri, Saturday got support from the European Union which offered to update its report Calcutta News.

Climategate – Conservative Party 90% Dont Believe In Man Made Climate Change

On the Conservativehome blog yesterday were the first signs of the Conservative party starting to move away from the great AGW scam with this entry

Al Gore and his followers are losing the climate change debate

The nuance of the word followers is interesting, it clearly attempts to distance Al Gore and science from Climate Change, not an unreasonable thing to do given that Gore has no scientific qualifactions at all.

This is the first hint that one of the two major UK political parties is starting to drift away from the Church of Climatology. A recent survey of 200 Conservative PPC’s listed Climate Change as the lowest priority and the economy as the highest priority.

The latest poll for the BBC on man made Climate Change shows that the Conservative candidates are in tune with the voters mood.

The freshly cooling Guardian has this story today:

Most Conservative MPs, including at least six members of the shadow cabinet, are sceptical about their party’s continued focus on climate change policies, it has been claimed.

The recent furore around “Climategate” has hardened the views of Tory MPs, many of whom were already unconvinced by the scientific consensus, and has led to increasing calls for the issue to be pushed down the priority list.

Tim Montgomerie, founder and editor of the ConservativeHome website, said climate change had the potential to be as divisive for the party as Europe once was. “You have got 80% or 90% of the party just not signed up to this. No one minded at the beginning, but people are starting to realise this could be quite expensive, so opinion is hardening.” Read the rest of this entry »

Climategate Exclusive – North of England Council Eco Nazis EXTORT Cash From Local Business

As disclosed yesterday, there has been some very unseemly goings on within the offices of the highly esteemed (by whom? pray tell) Blogpool Town Hall.
We have proof that at least one council employee in Lancashire is misleading local business’, possibly in pure ignorance, in order to extract monies- by mis-applying DEFRA’s rules on the removal & safe disposal of ‘trade waste’.

To explain… I & the two youngest Jends have been clients of Jed Pound (a gentleman of a ‘certain’ age) Hairdresser for many years.

Jed is a highly respected member of the local community & a fantastic advocate for local businesses & the concept of a level playing field for all.

Whilst the two youngest Jends were waiting their turn to have their hair cut by the fragrant Catherine (aged…who knows?), Jed’s business partner; he gave me the lowdown on the underhand & bully boy tactics employed by the local council.

Last week, Jed was in conversation with a certain Mr A- a representative of the council.
This gentleman has driven the wrong way up the street on which Jed’s emporium is situated. Jed struck up a conversation with Mr A & discovered that he was looking into the causes of a rat infestation..it’s source being establishments higher up the street & beyond.

Mr A asked Jed on the methods that he used to dispose of the shop’s ‘TRADE WASTE’? Read the rest of this entry »

Climategate – Conservativehome “Al Gore Losing Climate Change Debate”

This is a day Aardvark has been waiting for, and waiting for a very long time, at last the Conservative Party have woken up to the Anthropogenic Global Warming scam.

Yesterday the BBC published a poll on AGW that shows the non believers are in an ever increasing majority.

Now today on the Conservativehome website:

Al Gore and his followers are losing the climate change debate:

Yet along comes Al Gore, like the detective in some Agatha Christie novel, saying “It’s the Butler!”. In Al Gore’s case, he chooses to finger a single trace gas in the atmosphere. CO2 makes up less that 0.04% of our atmosphere, and while it is indeed a greenhouse gas, it’s not even the most important one — that’s water vapour. Frankly, to approach a complex and only partially-understood multi-factorial problem like climate, and to pick on CO2 as the only important factor, is little short of lunacy. Yet the world, the media and the political establishment have been trapped in this lunacy for a decade.

And now we have the revelations that much of the IPCC’s 2007 report was based, not on peer-reviewed science, but on propaganda hand-outs from WWF and other deep-green zealots. The “Himalayan Glaciers to Melt by 2035″ story is just plain nonsense. So is the claim about 40% of the Amazon rain forest — the source document primarily blamed logging, not climate. And the claimed link between costly natural disasters and global warming is also discredited. In fact the source document for that canard, when eventually published, specifically denied that any such link had been found. Read the rest of this entry »
